About

Seeking to implement design that fosters deep connections with our community

Caroline grew up in a military family and has lived in nine U.S. states, but she calls Upstate New York home. After college, she lived and worked in Washington state and Colorado, before returning to New York. She attended the State University of New York at New Paltz and graduated magna cum laude with her BFA in Graphic Design.

Caroline’s areas of expertise include branding & identity and visual storytelling in both the print and web worlds. She strongly believes in the value of collaboration, communication, research, and organization. Caroline has designed in-house for a number of boutique studios, playing vital roles on teams dedicated to community-oriented projects such as for Sitka Community Hospital and Sitka Through Four Seasons. She has managed her freelance business as a side gig as well as two years full time, with a focus on branding for small businesses such as The Resume Fox, Girl Loves Cake Desserts, and Lori Gayle Therapy. She is currently the design director for NutritionFacts.org, where she oversees the design initiatives across all platforms and manages the video production team. She continues to offer freelance design services as well. Learn more by reading her resume.

In her free time, Caroline loves adventuring outdoors with her husband and their three dogs, masters swimming, and working on restoring her soon-to-be 100 year old home.
